Play-To-Earn with PopCraft!

We're thrilled to announce our latest Morph Zoo Bonus Event featuring PopCraft, the addictive fully on-chain hypercasual game that has enchanted Morph users!

Starting February 20 at 9 AM EST through March 20 at 9 AM EST, players can compete for their share of Morph Points and exclusive rewards in this exciting four-week campaign.

The Game

PopCraft is an addictive match-elimination game where speed and strategy combine. Players face a board filled with colorful character icons (including our beloved Morphie!) and have 2 minutes to achieve the highest possible score. The mechanics are simple and engaging: 

• Click on any group of matching icons that are touching each other

• As you do, they’ll disappear. The larger the connected group you find, the more points you earn!

Each gaming session is a race against time as you scan the board for matching patterns, clear groups of icons, and adapt to the changing layout. Watch for the special gift box the first time you play. This will award you bonus character icons (seen at the top right), allowing you to remove single icons when no matches are available.

Score, Plant, and Game Points

Scores

Your score is determined by the basic actions you perform as you play. For example, clicking to eliminate a single item gives you a score of +15. Full table below:

You also get an additional +150 if you win the round by clearing all items within the 2-minute period.

For the purposes of this campaign, you will be ranked based on your total score at the end of each weekly gaming period.

Another feature of your score is that it can be used to collect plant seeds. 

Plants

Click the My Plants icon in the lower left corner to get started.

Check on this option often; the more score points you accumulate, the more seeds will become available. If you’ve met the score threshold, a seed will begin to grow.  

The more score points you accumulate and the more time you play, the more options you’ll see in this section for new seeds to become available and for your existing seeds to grow into plants through multiple phases. There are three classes of plants (A, B, C), each with different requirements and benefits. Check the official gameplay mechanics for a list of all seeds/plants, score requirements, and times.  

Once you have some plants, these can be exchanged for Game Points (GP).

Game Points 

There are different ways to collect GP. The most straightforward is to win a game to receive 100 GP. 

The second way is by exchanging plants into GP as we mentioned above. 

Finally, every 250 score points you accumulate will also earn you 50 GP.

GP will be exchangeable for various rewards, check the game often to see what these are. 

As a fully on-chain game, every move generates blockchain transactions, making PopCraft one of the most rewarding activities on Morph. 

Earn While You Play

Every game of PopCraft automatically earns you Morph Points through on-chain activity. Here's how it works:

• Each 2-minute game session generates approximately 40 on-chain micro-transactions, each incredibly cheap
• Every transaction you make earns you Morph Points (current coefficient: 625)
• A typical game using about 0.00008 ETH in gas will earn you ~0.05 Morph Points
• The default top-up amount (0.002 ETH) supports around 25 game sessions (depending on L1 gas fees)

This means that under these circumstances you’re earning about 1 Morph Point for roughly every 20 games you play. And while we haven't yet specified any details on Morph Points to future token airdrop conversions, platforms like Whales Market and Bubbly allow you to see how others are valuing our points.

Combined with the additional weekly leaderboard prizes for the top 250 players, PopCraft offers an engaging way to earn while contributing to Morph's ecosystem growth.

Weekly Leaderboard Rewards

Every week, the top 250 players will earn extra Morph Points:

• Places 1–10: 9 points each
• Places 11–30: 7 points each
• Places 31–70: 6 points each
• Places 71–130: 4 points each
• Places 131–180: 3 points each
• Places 181–250: 2 points each

Exclusive Discord Rewards

Besides Morph Points, active players can earn:

• Special Discord roles recognizing your gaming achievements
• Discord XP points for consistent participation
• Exclusive Morph-themed merchandise
