Today we welcome another revolutionary Morph ecosystem partner! Rango is a multi-chain “super aggregator” of DEX and bridges. It’s like a new layer above these DApps and services that can be utilized to find the most efficient, fastest, safest, and cheapest route to swap virtually any tokens between most networks. Rango’s incredible tech makes blockchain more efficient for both users and developers.
What Is Rango?
As a super aggregator, Rango connects DEXs such as Uniswap or Curve, other aggregators such as 1inch or Jupiter, and decentralized bridges such as Arbitrum Bridge or Stargate. The project has integrated more than 74 DEXs/aggregators and over 21 bridges. This extensive network is only a part of what makes Rango special. The project is also a routing protocol, with a smart routing feature that helps users instantly find the best path for a token swap based on speed, network fees, or final amounts.
Though the technology may seem familiar as other single-chain and EVM aggregators already exist, Rango is the only true cross-chain aggregator with over 66+ distinct blockchains integrated, including Ethereum, L2s, Solana, Bitcoin, Cosmos, UTXO, zk-rollups, Tron, and more.
How Does Rango Help Users and Developers?
All of Rango’s powerful technology is encapsulated and presented through a simple, familiar swapping interface similar to Uniswap’s. This means that even complicated actions such as swapping different tokens across different chains become as simple as selecting an originating network/token along with a destination network/token from drop-down menus. Users will no longer need to spend hours researching the best DEXs on each chain and finding the appropriate bridges. Instead, Rango automatically finds the best route and prompts the user to connect all relevant wallets. The user’s only task is to approve all incoming pop-up notifications.
For developers and projects, Rango offers an API/SDK with a plug-and-play widget for multi-chain wallets and dapps. This means that any developer seeking these industry-leading multi-chain capabilities can easily use Rango’s API rather than waste resources and time on a redundant routing backend. Additionally, Rango has abstracted much of the complexities yielding just a few endpoints to access all of its powerful functions. Best of all, there are no fees at this stage, with all the generated fees going straight to the DApps.
